“With You All The Way”

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSONS

To know that Jesus will be with us all the way is a blessing and comfort and it strengthens and inspires courage as we meet life’s marathon adventure.

Jesus’ promise stood out when reading the Aquarian Gospel as he spoke with his disciples about his upcoming crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.

“I will not leave you desolate, but in the Christ, which is the love of God made manifest to men, I will be with you all the way.” Aquarian Gospel 161:15-38, Levi H. Dowling (1844-1911)

His love strengthens and is constant.

It endures, even when we are unsure we can take the next step and the next step after that.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” –Philippians 4:13, KJV

He is there when we falter.

We can see this when Peter speaks to Jesus about his steadfastness and in Jesus’ response,

“My Lord, though every other man forsake you I will not. And Jesus said, O Simon Peter, lo, your zeal is greater than ye fortitude!” – Aquarian Gospel 161-12-13, Levi H. Dowling (1844-1911)

He loved him still.

He encourages and supports us when we feel nobody else does.

His love wraps arms around us in the dark nights of the soul – we are never left alone.

When we get lost, His light and Word “is a lamp unto [our] feet, and a light unto [our] path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Jesus loves us through it all.

When things go well and our acceptance of life is easier, He is there.

In the times when we struggle and are faced with great challenges, He is there.

He is there through and beyond death.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” –John 3:16, KJV

In these days, in the coming days, may we be comforted that during all times, he is there, loving us, loving you –through it all, all the way.
